Nissan took Dubai by storm with an unforgettable evening that celebrated performance, heritage, and innovation at the global reveal of the all-new Patrol NISMO and Z NISMO. Hosted at the iconic Sound Stage in Dubai Studio City, this event wasn’t just a launch it was a true showcase of what NISMO stands for.
As one of the very first to see these performance beasts unveiled to the world, I had the honor to witness Nissan’s vision for the future and it’s bold, aggressive, and pure NISMO.
NISMO Reborn: More Than Just Looks
The new Patrol NISMO immediately stole the show. Long hailed as the regional hero, this latest iteration pushes the envelope further with 495HP, a lowered ride, aerodynamic spoilers, and forged lightweight RAYS wheels. But this isn’t just about aesthetics NISMO has gone deeper, refining the suspension tuning, engine calibration, and delivering a more engaging, sporty driving experience. The exhaust note alone tells you this is no ordinary Patrol.
The interior is equally stunning. Nissan blends luxury with motorsport-inspired details the red contrast stitching, Alcantara touches, and NISMO badging create a cabin that feels exclusive yet comfortable.
At an expected price of $122,000 in the UAE, this is performance made premium, and it’s aimed squarely at those who want both power and presence.
Z NISMO & Heritage on Display
Equally captivating was the reveal of the new Nissan Z NISMO. Sitting alongside a lineup of classic Z cars and a legendary Nissan GT-R race car, the new Z brings back the spirit of pure driving with a sharper edge. The aggressive styling cues, enhanced aerodynamics, and track-focused upgrades signal that the Z NISMO is built for enthusiasts who crave connection between car and driver.
The event wasn’t just about the new Z it was about honoring Nissan’s journey. Seeing the classic Z lineage, Patrol legends, and GT-R roots reminded everyone in attendance of the brand’s deep motorsport DNA.
Red Ring Society & VIP Treatment
We were also granted exclusive access to the Red Ring Society, a unique NISMO experience zone where the brand’s DNA came to life through immersive storytelling and behind-the-scenes insights.
On top of it all, Nissan spared no detail in hospitality. Our stay at the SO/ Uptown Dubai hotel was five-star luxury a perfect complement to the night’s high-octane energy. And perhaps the most rewarding part of the evening was connecting with Thierry Sabbagh, President of Nissan Middle East and KSA, and other global executives. It was a rare opportunity to discuss the brand’s strategy and future, especially in a region where the Patrol reigns supreme.
A Glimpse Into What’s Next
What stood out most is how far NISMO has evolved once limited to exterior trim enhancements, now delivering full-fledged performance overhauls. From forged wheels to track-tuned suspensions and engine upgrades, NISMO is officially a performance division that demands global attention.
This wasn’t just a reveal it was a celebration of passion, precision, and Nissan’s bold next chapter.
