Nissan officially unveiled the all-new Patrol at an unforgettable event in Abu Dhabi last night, celebrating the SUV’s rich legacy while introducing a thrilling new chapter in its history. The event, themed “Nissan Patrol Middle East Odyssey,” was led by Nissan’s President and CEO, Makoto Uchida, who revealed the seventh-generation Patrol as it emerged from the desert dunes, symbolizing its enduring ability to conquer the toughest terrains.
The premiere, attended by over 600 guests—including royals, VIPs, global Nissan executives, partners, and media—was broadcast live to audiences worldwide across broadcast and social media platforms. The event highlighted the Patrol’s design evolution, engineering advancements, and groundbreaking innovations through presentations by key Nissan leaders, including Alfonso Albaisa, Senior Vice President of Global Design, and Ivan Espinosa, Chief Planning Officer.
To celebrate the Patrol’s 70 years of evolution, the evening featured an immersive cultural experience that combined traditional Japanese and Middle Eastern elements. The event included an Emirati poet’s recital, a performance by the renowned Japanese dance group Fabulous Sisters, and a stunning light show, enhanced by 3D mapping that seamlessly blended the desert landscape with the Patrol’s adventurous spirit.
Makoto Uchida remarked, “The Patrol represents the longest uninterrupted product line in Nissan’s history. Over the decades, it has maintained its off-road legacy while embracing refinement and innovation. The Middle East has always had a special connection with the Nissan Patrol, making it the perfect region for the global debut of the seventh-generation model. This launch also marks the first of five SUVs to be introduced in the region as part of our global business plan, The Arc, reinforcing our commitment to meeting customer needs.”
A dedicated Heritage Zone showcased the Patrol’s evolution, from its rugged beginnings in 1951 to its current status as a symbol of power and prestige. The event also paid tribute to Patrol drivers worldwide, with flags representing the nations where the Patrol continues to make an impact, emphasizing its global legacy and loyal customer base.
Thierry Sabbagh, Divisional Vice President and President of the Middle East, KSA – Nissan, INFINITI, added, “The Middle East remains a key region in Nissan’s global strategy, making it the ideal location for the world debut of the All-New Patrol. This occasion celebrates the unwavering loyalty of our customers and the valuable support of our regional partners, who have been integral to the Patrol’s status as an icon of power and prestige in the Middle East for nearly seven decades.”
The All-New Patrol offers two engine options: a 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 producing 425 horsepower and 700 Nm of torque, and a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter V6 delivering 316 horsepower and 386 Nm of torque. Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission, ensuring enhanced performance both on and off the road while improving fuel efficiency.
Externally, the Patrol’s design evolution includes a bold V-motion grille, Adaptive Driving Beam headlights, and a distinctive full-width light bar at the rear. Inside, the SUV features a luxurious cabin with cutting-edge technology, including a 28.6-inch Monolith display and a Klipsch Premium Audio System.
The All-New Nissan Patrol is now available for booking at Nissan’s partner network in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and across the Middle East, with prices starting at $65,000, though pricing varies by market.
