AW Rostamani Group (AWR), a prominent family business in the UAE with over 50 years of experience in the automotive sector, has teamed up with Charge&go, the electric mobility arm of e&, to promote electric vehicle (EV) adoption across the UAE. This partnership was formalized through a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed during GITEX 2024, the world’s largest technology event, aligning with the UAE government’s goals for sustainable mobility.
This strategic collaboration addresses the issue of ‘range anxiety’—a common concern among potential EV owners—by enhancing convenience for existing customers and incentivizing new buyers. The partnership builds on AWR’s recent introduction of the premium electric brand ZEEKR to the UAE, broadening consumer options in the growing EV market. Together, they aim to alleviate charging-related worries and create a smoother path for EV adoption.
AWR Group customers will gain exclusive benefits, including special EV charging packages and access to Charge&go’s extensive network of charging stations throughout the UAE. To further improve the EV experience, Charge&go will install charging stations at various AWR Properties locations, including showrooms, providing convenient charging solutions for customers.
