I had the exciting opportunity to attend the regional premiere of the all-new Audi Q6 e-tron in Khorfakkan. Upon arriving at the Address Beach Resort in Fujairah, we were treated to a delightful dinner with the Audi team at the historic Khorfakkan Fort. During the evening, they shared some thrilling news: Audi plans to launch 20 new models by the end of 2025 and will enter Formula 1 in 2026.

The following day began with an expert workshop focused on the advanced technology behind the Audi Q6. After gaining insights from industry experts, we hit the road for a test drive that took us through both urban streets and rugged terrains, all set against stunning scenery. The Q6 e-tron impressed with its remarkable quietness and excellent sound insulation.
There are two versions of the Q6 e-tron, both equipped with all-wheel drive and proudly bearing the ‘quattro’ badge. The entry-level model delivers a robust 382 horsepower and 428 lb-ft of torque, thanks to its dual electric motors—an induction motor in the front and a permanent-magnet synchronous motor in the rear. This configuration allows it to accelerate from 0-62 mph in just 5.9 seconds, with a top speed of 210km/h.
For those seeking even more performance, the SQ6 variant ramps up the power to 490 horsepower, with launch control pushing it to slightly more. It achieves 0-62 mph in a blistering 4.3 seconds and boasts a maximum speed of 230km/h, though you might notice a dip in range if you frequently drive it at this level. Both models utilize a single-speed transmission, a standard feature for electric vehicles.

Overall, I was thoroughly impressed by the Audi Q6 e-tron—from its sleek design to its innovative technology. One feature that particularly caught my attention was the new AI integration, enhancing both convenience and driving experience. This event not only showcased Audi’s commitment to innovation but also solidified my admiration for their latest offering.
