At the Jeddah International Motor Show, running from October 29 to November 2, MG displayed 14 models from its diverse lineup. Alongside the RX9, MG 5, and Cyberster, attendees could view the MG Whale, MG ONE, MG ZS EV, MG 4 EV, MG 3, and MG 7. This extensive showcase not only highlights MG’s dedication to the Saudi market but also demonstrates its ability to offer a wide range of vehicles that cater to the needs of customers, from family-friendly SUVs to performance-oriented electric cars.
The standout moment of the show was the global debut of the MG RX9, MG’s flagship SUV. Designed to meet the increasing demand for spacious and versatile vehicles in Saudi Arabia, the RX9 is powered by a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine, delivering a combination of performance and comfort. With advanced safety features, generous interior space, and cutting-edge automotive technology, the MG RX9 is poised to attract families and long-distance drivers alike.

Another highlight was the regional premiere of the new MG 5, known for its reliability and affordability. The updated MG 5 boasts a sleek design, improved fuel efficiency, and enhanced safety features, making it an appealing choice for sedan buyers. Its spacious interior and smart technology ensure it remains competitive in the regional market.
Additionally, the all-electric MG Cyberster is now available in the region, starting at USD 54,000 (excluding VAT) for the 77KWH dual motor LUX trim. The Cyberster represents MG’s bold entry into the sports car segment, merging classic roadster aesthetics with futuristic technology. With its powerful electric motor and advanced features, the Cyberster promises an exhilarating driving experience while supporting a more sustainable future.
Visitors to the MG stand had the chance to see the iconic MGB, which inspired the Cyberster. Launched in 1962, this two-door sports car epitomized British automotive excellence and holds a significant place in MG’s 100-year history. This year’s centenary celebrations also marked MG’s partnership with the legendary English football club Arsenal FC, blending the sporty heritage of both entities. Guests were treated to commentary on Arsenal matches at the activity stand, enhancing the overall experience.
MG’s success at the show reflects its strong partnership with Jiad Modern Motors, part of the Mohamed Yousuf Naghi company, which has played a crucial role in the brand’s growth and customer satisfaction. MG now has an extensive and well-developed network of showrooms and service centers, bringing it closer to its customers than ever before. Recent initiatives include the opening of a regional parts warehouse in Jeddah for quicker turnaround times and a Regional Training Centre to elevate service standards across the MG network.
